Dimple® M16X1.5X12 for 2.5 Outback and Legacy
A couple of years ago Subaru began using a new size engine drain plug on the above models from an M20 to the smaller M16X 1.5X12
We are offering our brand new Dimple® M16X1.5X12 for these engines.
An added benefit with our M16X1.5X12 Plug is that it has a Huge 3/8" Diameter magnet. Also: ON the SUBARU STI only, there is a secondary manual transmission/differential plug on the side pan of transmission. It is also an M16 X 1.5X1.5

A low profile plug is required with Turbo engines because of the internal pan baffling fitted to the pan, but of course it is equally effective on Non Turbo Engines as well.
